About Liz LuffinghamLiz has been painting for many years, exhibiting in Glasgow, Paris, Brighton, and in Sussex at the Open Arts Exhibition and for the Sussex Heritage Trust as well as local galleries. Her early work began when she attended the Manchester School of Art and later as a part-time student at the Glasgow School of Art. Her paintings are impressionistic in execution and are often based on the unique West of Scotland land and seascapes; more recently, views of Sussex and from travels abroad. Her painting are often emptied of human activity concentrating on the natural landscape.
